Man, I worked very hard on this, I wanted to get it down so we now have video evidence or disproval of the claims that vio procs favor defense. Sadly, I couldn't set up a perfect plan of action myself until this came up: https://forum.com2us.com/forum/main-...un-vs-cheatsun
Using the video on that I compiled quite a bit of data, it took me forever but it's worth it to disprove or prove a simple theory. Do vio procs favor defense?
I'm sure this will get contested, I'll probably get called a liar because let's face it, people would rather attempt to get away from the truth than accept it, but this is pretty fair trial, it's chasun vs. chasun, both mons on AI using auto play, therefore I figured this would probably be the best bet to get accurate data. Keep in mind I went over this multiple times in segments just to ensure data is correct, doesn't mean this data is 100% accurate, but I'd guess around 95%+ accuracy. There are times I could have missed something, however I will say, the data is pretty good, like i said, i went over it multiple times using different methods to ensure the accuracy was as close to 100 as i could get it. With number like this tho, even if something was off by a small amount it wouldn't affect the data.
So let's start with the basics:
Length of Video: 3 hours, 5 minutes and 41 seconds.
Turns recorded: 2,759 per Chasun, so 5,518 turns total (attack bar fills only not vio procs)
ok, we got that out of the way, and just to make sure everyone understands, each Chasun got 2,759 attack bar fills, not additional turns. I'm just putting out the basics of what was recorded.
Now let's get down to the meat.
Ally Chasun - Total turns 2,759 and out of those turns -
1413 had no Vio procs at all, 51.2% of all turns.
1206 were 1 vio proc turns - 43.79% of all turns.
only 99 were 2 proc turns - 3.6% of all turns.
and 41 were 3 proc turns - 1.5% of all turns.
Resulting in a grand total of 1527 violent procs total.
Now at first I questioned these numbers, 43.79% of all turns had at least 1 vio proc and 1,306 of all turns or 48.8% of all turns had at least 1 vio proc. Much higher than 22%. So maybe it's not just defense, maybe it's all around Vio is crazy, til I looked at enemies...
Enemy Chasun - total turns 2,759 and out of those turns -
837 had no vio procs at all, 30.3% of all turns.
1293 were 1 vio proc turns - 46.9% of all turns
394 were 2 proc turns - 14.3% of all turns
and 235 were 3 proc turns - 8.5% of all turns.
Resulting in a grand total of 2782 total vio procs.
Freaking crazy, this Chasun had more vio procs than she had turns. So much for 22%... So, if you do the comparison, there were a grand total of 4,309 total vio procs, offense had 35.4% of all vio procs, defense had 64.6% of all vio procs... NEARLY DOUBLE.
So, there's the results and the video proof, you are more than welcome to look over my work and double check it. It took me a long time to do all this data tho, however, I'm still out to prove a point, even tho I really haven't played in almost a month. Granted both sides were well over the 22% chance i thought we were going to be around. But defense definitely did more than offense.
Thank you for reading.
