Zitat:World Arena:
Rules may change from season to season.
They have been collecting data to possibly decide on changes in Season 2.
The Pegasus and Ifrit transmogs will not be rewards in Season 2. They are Season 1 exclusives.
Goodwill tournaments are coming. Anybody can set them up.
Guilds:
They plan to enhance the "community" GW aspect. Right now very focused only on the actual wars.
Possibly a mission where a whole guild must work together to clear a dungeon for rewards.
Also a "Guild Siege" feature coming - 3 guilds attacking/defending at the same time. Aim is for a guild to occupy the most "bases"/towers to win.
Will require much more communication than current guild wars in order to be successful.
Crafting:
New support type Homunculus will be coming "this summer".
This Homunculus will only be Light/Dark. Better start improving these rift teams
They are also looking to add new crafting materials. The Rift will become more relevant in the game, more important.
Possible upcoming balances to Rift rewards. They want to make it more accessible/worthwhile for newer players.
Fusion:
New Light Fusion coming in the 2nd half of this year.
Confirmed not a Light Ifrit.
They apparently haven't decided which monster yet.
They will try to add a monster that "can be loved by many users". Everybody gets Light Panda = confirmed.
New Scenario:
Regarding the unlocked area in the world map.
They call it "Dimensional Hole".
Lets you travel to different places, where different strategies are needed.
It will hopefully let you utilise monsters than aren't that useful elsewhere (confirmed Brandia & Shit Hou buffs).
Coming at the end of this year.
He closes with saying that he understands that updates seem to come slowly but they are working hard to try and uphold the game's design values and make it better.
Q&A:
What is being done to change the speed meta? They don't want to stray away from this meta too much, since users have been raising/building monsters around this meta for a while. It would be unfair to them if it was changed drastically. However they are looking to slightly modify the game to make getting the first turn a bit less important. AGAIN, LIGHT PANDA FUSION CONFIRMED.
I think many of the LD nat 5s need to be buffed. What are you doing about this? Possibly base stat changes? They are constantly looking to make all monsters balanced/better, even thought not many people have LD nat 5s. They will try to improve monsters not always by a direct buff, but by introducing other content where they become very useful.
Will Transcendence scroll be sold again?" Replied "Do you want us to?". Discussed that they were originally concerned about community backlash when it was released. However many users liked it. They currently have no plans to resell in the near future. (My thoughts are they will end up selling it every Christmas, once per account, but never more frequently).
Will you expand rune inventory? (This may have been shot/asked before the most recent update). Apparently expanding rune inventory has a lot of coding limitations and slows loading times. He thinks rune storage capacity isn't that big an issue, rather that managing runes is - looking to improve UI in the future and make this easier.
That's all folks. No word on nat 5 summoning rate increases.
At 7:25 the girl in the background holds up a sheet with cheat codes. See if you can zoom in and decipher for free LD nat 5s.
