Die Dataminer haben wieder zugeschlagen:

In the last update there was some text added regarding Blessings.

Christmas Blessing! Special Pack

Blessing of Summon

When you summon a default 4★ Monster, an additional Monster with the same default grade will be summoned. You can choose one out of two Monsters.
The item will be used instantly when you summon a default 4★ Monster.

Splendid Blessing of Summon

When you summon a default 5★ Monster, an additional Monster with the same default grade will be summoned. You can choose one out of two Monsters.
The item will be used instantly when you summon a default 5★ Monster."


By looks of it, Blessings can only be obtained from packs. They won't affect your chances of pulling a nat 4 or 5, but will immediately take effect whenever you pull one, whether that's right away or (presumably) several months down the line.

Basically, summon a nat 4/5, another one of same grade is summoned, you pick one to keep.

As mentioned in the datamine post, these do not affect LD scrolls or Summoning Stones.
