Für ein "Vorab" Event ist das sicherlich nicht verkehrt. Die Leuten die Zeit haben, sollen spielen.
Für ein "Fan-Forum-RTA-Event" ist ein längerer Zeitraum zum Anmelden auf jeden Fall sinnvoll. Da viele hier ja ebenfalls im Büro tätig sind, kann man dies eher in seinen Alltag einplanen, sprich Termine auf ne andere Uhrzeit legen, etc.
Wenn man so was früh genug weis, kann man dort auf jeden Fall besser reagieren, wie wenn man bspw. Freitags bekannt gibt, das Montag das "Turnier" startet.
